Every year someone emerges and takes the NBA by storm. Linsanity was the greatest example of an undrafted player taking over. But now Kendrick Nunn is the latest undrafted guard to seemingly come out of nowhere and put his name in the record books.
Nunn has scored 112 points so far this season, that’s the most points by an undrafted player through their first 5 games in the league.
Nunn is currently averaging 22.4 points per game and leading the Heat in scoring. A Heat team that also has Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic on it. Which is wild.
I mean, who even heard of this guy before this season? Well, the Warriors have and I bet they wish they held onto him now…
So let’s breakdown how Kendrick Nunna burst onto the scene for the Miami Heat.
